NOTICE OF VACANCY

POSITION:   HURON PERTH ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT TEAM
                    Professional Staff    
                    (Registered Nurse)
                     Full Time Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Huron Perth Assertive Community Treatment Team will endeavour to reflect the community it serves by providing assertive community treatment and outreach to residents of Huron and Perth counties with long term serious mental concerns.
 
REPORTS TO:  Manager, ACTT

DATE REQUIRED:  As Soon As Possible

SALARY:    $29.36 to $42.44 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:  
- Registered Nurse Designation; Current Registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic CPR Certification
- Completion of a Crisis Intervention Training Program or Equivalent.

REQUIREMENTS:  
- Minimum 5 Years Clinical Mental Health Experience
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and Access to Own Transportation with Auto Endorsement Insurance for Transporting Clients

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Functions cooperatively with Huron and Perth multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrates well-developed skills in assessment, case/team management, crisis intervention, group counselling/therapy, treatment planning and service coordination for adult mental health clients
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed, motivated team player with a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Able to support Huron and Perth clients in their homes or in a community environment
- Computer literate
