POSITION:   REGISTERED NURSE, Emergency 
                   Primarily Seaforth Site
                   Regular Part-Time x 2

REPORTS TO:  Program Director, Emergency

DATE REQUIRED:  As soon as possible

SALARY:   $29.36 to $42.44 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:  
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

REQUIREMENTS:  
- Recent clinical experience (minimum 4 years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing
- Recent/related courses, in-services in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing

SKILLS/ABILITIES: 
- Specialized Skills in the following areas:
  - Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage
  - ECG Interpretation
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  - Emergency Trauma Life Support (ETLS)
  - Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
  - Trauma Management
- Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and problem solve.
Preferred Training:
1) Trauma Nursing Critical Care (TNCC) Course
2) Canadian Emergency Department Triage and Acuity Scale
3) Emergency Nursing Certificate (ENC)
