There are no muscles inside the fingers. All of the muscles are in the palm and arm region and attached to tendons inside of the fingers. The fingers are moved around like a puppet on a set of strings.

Surgical Unit

The Surgery Unit has 25 surgical beds with a variety of wards, semi private and private accommodations.

This unit is for patients who require overnight stays in the hospital after elective or emergency surgeries. The unit also cares for non-surgical patients when necessary.

Going for surgery can be a stressful time. We do our best to make your stay as safe and comfortable as possible.

Recovery is a big part of surgery, and you can actively participate in helping yourself get better. Your surgeon and health care team will have information for you about medications, wound care and other important parts of your recovery.
