Elevator Out of Service at St. Marys Memorial Hospital

January 23, 2018

Elevator will be out of service from January 29 through March 5

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is advising the public that the elevator at their St. Marys Memorial Hospital site will be out of service from January 29 through March 5, 2018. This is a proactive replacement and modernization of the elevator which has been in service for over 25 years.

Stairs located across from the elevator labelled M.300-S1 are available for those visitors who do need access to/from the basement.

Funding for the replacement was received through the Ontario Government's Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund.

“We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” says Doug Biesinger, Director Facilities Management. “And we thank you for your patience as we work to complete this necessary upgrade.”
