It is especially helpful if patients arriving at the Emergency Department bring an updated list of all current medication they are taking. This list should include: prescription medications, over-the-counter medications and vitamins, herbs and any supplements.

Notice! Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic our Volunteer and Auxiliary Program is temporarily suspended to minimize the risk to our volunteers and to further reduce the number of individuals coming into the hospitals.

We look forward to bringing our dedicated volunteers back into our hospitals and rescheduling our community and special events!

HPHA has a dedicated group volunteers working alongside a busy Health Care team in our four hospital sites: Clinton Public Hospital, Seaforth Community Hospital, St Marys Memorial Hospital and Stratford General Hospital. They work in a variety of patient care and service areas assisting us in reaching our goal of providing care close to home. They also work hard fundraising for the purchase of capital equipment for our hospitals.

When you volunteer at HPHA you will be:

  • Creating a positive impact on the lives of patients.
  • Giving back to the community.
  • Experiencing personal growth.
  • Enjoying a sense of belonging.
  • Strengthening team building skills.
  • Making new friends.
  • Having fun!
