Wireless Internet Access

HPHA Stratford General Site has recently provisioned a wireless internet access portal for patients and visitors.  As a key communication tool for our community, internet is now available for patients and visitors anywhere within the West, East and North buildings at the Stratford site.

Patients and visitors can access our wireless by connecting to the “HPHA” wireless network from their laptop, smartphone or any wi-fi capable device.  This is a “pay-for” service so users must enter a credit card number and purchase service for a specified period of time.

The IT Department cannot support any equipment that is not owned by the hospital. If you have patients or other members of the public who are having difficulties with their laptop of other wireless device, they must contact their own technical support party and not the HPHA IT Department.

Over the next three years, wireless service will also be deployed at St.Marys, Seaforth and Clinton sites.

Wireless is available anywhere in the main hospital; this includes patient rooms, waiting rooms, cafeteria etc. Service will be used at your own risk. Usage of webcams & cameras is strictly prohibited on Hospital property.
