Flowers are allowed in patients’ rooms with the exception of the Intensive Care Unit and Special Care Areas.  However, strong smelling flowers, such as lilies or hyacinths, are not allowed in patient care areas.  Latex balloons are not permitted within the hospital sites.  Balloons manufactured from alternative materials, such as Mylar, are acceptable.
