Accessibility

All patients need to be able to access the services that they require. HPHA has an Accessibility policy which includes procedures for assistive devices, use of service animals and support people, notices of service disruption, training of staff, volunteers and board members and a feedback process (Patient & Family Experience Survey).

HPHA is committed to:

  • The continual improvement of access to all hospital premises, facilities and services
  • The participation of people with disabilities in the development and review of its Accessibility Plan
  • The provision of quality services to patients, visitors, staff and all members of the community with disabilities
