Connecting the Dots for Caregivers is asking
all healthcare and service provider organizations in Huron Perth to join us in
a community-wide pledge to support family caregivers by implementing the Time
to Talk Toolkit.
is a family member, friend, or neighbour who provides personal, social,
psychological and physical support, assistance and care for a family member or
friend in need.
The role is
24-hours, seven days a week and it is known to have far reaching impacts on a
caregiver’s physical and mental health, their ability to work, their personal
finances and their relationships with family and friends.

with family caregivers and health care providers, we created the Time to Talk
includes posters, a brochure, an e-Learning video and other information that
explains the challenges family caregivers face in their role. It provides
information that will help your staff in their interactions with family
