Your blood type determines who you can donate to, or receive blood from. People with type O negative (O-) are considered universal donors, as they can donate red blood cells to all other blood type recipients. Huron Perth Helpline & Crisis Response Team

The Huron Perth Helpline & Crisis Response Team is available to all residents of Huron and Perth Counties.

It is a 24 hour crisis phone service, with crisis assessments, brief crisis therapy and crisis education.

Crisis offers face-to-face assessments:

  • at all hospital Emergency Departments in Huron and Perth
  • in homes (with police)
  • in schools
  • in doctors' offices
  • mobile with police in Huron and Perth counties
