About HPHA

SCHF LogoThe role of the Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation is to provide the community with a range of opportunities to continually improve patient care at the Seaforth Community Hospital.

Since incorporation under the Canada Business Corporation Act in 1994, the Foundation has invested over $2 million in support of critical medical equipment, redevelopment and new technology to the Seaforth Community Hospital.

Ongoing support from the community is crucial to ensure that the necessary medical equipment, beyond Ministry of Health funding, is available when an emergency occurs. A gift will make a real impact at life's most crucial time.

“If we all give a little… we all get a lot!”

Types of Donations

Foundation Campaigns are run to address the essential needs of the Seaforth Community Hospital. Your continued support is crucial for our annual summer and Christmas campaigns.

Community events run by groups and individuals. This is a great way for the community to get involved and invest in the health of our community. The Foundation is available to assist you with the planning of your event.

Cash Gifts from donors are used for needed patient care equipment at the Seaforth Community Hospital. Cash gifts enable the Hospital to continue to provide quality compassionate care to everyone who passes through our doors.

Memorial Gifts are a wonderful way to honor the memory of a deceased or loved one.

Tribute Gifts can be made to honour an anniversary, birthday, retirement or any other special occasion.

Matching Gifts are made by employers who generously match contributions from their staff. Contact your employer to find out if your company has a matching gift program.

Gifts in Kind are non-cash gifts including securities, real estate and other tangible property.

Planned Gifts are becoming an increasingly popular way to leave a lasting gift. Bequests made through your will, and special gifts made by other methods such as life insurance will help patients for years to come.
