Emergency Medicine
Clinton Public Hospital is recruiting FM and/or EM physicians!
Position Details:
- Shifts are 24 hours, or 0800-2000/2000-0800.
- Physicians are paid through the AFA at a rate of $225-$255/hr.
- Patient volumes in ED are 25-35 daily. This is a full service ED accepting ambulance and CTAS 1 patients.
- There is a scheduled 2nd on call physician available for back up.
- X-Ray, U/S and Lab readily available in house.
- CT (Goderich) ~ 15 mins for stroke centre/head/neck & CT (Stratford) ~ 50 mins for CT chest/abdo/skeletal & can hold there for results/specialist consult if required.
- MRI, 24-hour laboratory, diagnostic imaging and respiratory therapy services are available through the Stratford site.
- Psychiatry services accessed through Schedule 1 in Goderich.
- Stratford is the primary referral centre for specialties (below). London is the tertiary referral centre.
- Mentorship available through colleagues at Stratford General.
- Free accommodation is available for those living out of town.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA)
Clinton Public Hospital, along with St. Marys Memorial Hospital, Seaforth Community Hospital and Stratford General Hospital make up the HPHA.
Stratford General Hospital (SGH) is the regional referral centre and is a 120 + bed hospital that offers a full range of medical and diagnostic services.
Specialty services are available in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist, ENT, Orthopedic, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Plastics, Anesthesia, Psychiatry and OB/GYN.
