Mental Health

We have transitioned to a Stepped Care Model for Outpatient Mental Health Services referrals. Services will be offered based on appropriateness, availability, and may include psychiatric consultation and short-term treatment, where appropriate.

Our Outpatient Mental Health Services provide both community based and in-office support to residents of Huron and Perth counties. In-office services are available in Listowel, Stratford, Clinton and Seaforth.

Our programs are supported by Psychiatrists and consultation is available to individuals connected to our teams.

We service anyone experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns. Visit program pages for more specific program descriptions and eligibility.

If you need someone to talk to, are struggling with your mental health or addiction, or need to be connected to mental health services please call the Huron Perth Helpline and Crisis Response Team at 1-888-829-7484

Specialized Provincial Mental Health Service for Children and Families

Child and Parent Resource Institute

The Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) is a provincial resource directly operated by the Ministry of Children Community and Social Services (MCCSS) that provides trauma-informed, highly-specialized assessment, treatment, and targeted intervention services for children and youth with complex combinations of special needs, including developmental disabilities, autism and severe behavioural, emotional and mental health challenges from across Ontario.

CPRI Outpatient services may include interdisciplinary assessment, consultation and initial stages of treatment for children and youth. We also work with community agencies to support clients in their home community. Consultation, education, and behavioural support may happen at CPRI, virtually, and/or in the community, such as at a child’s or youth's home or school.

Additional information about CPRI can be found here. For additional questions or comments about referrals to CPRI please email CPRI.Intake@ontario.ca or call 519-858-2774 ext. 2024.
